Overview
The client needed a modern intranet to replace their outdated communication channels. The solution had to centralise company news, policies, and team resources while being intuitive enough for non-technical staff to maintain.
The Challenge
Internal communications were fragmented across email, shared drives, and outdated intranet pages. Staff struggled to find policies, company news was easily missed, and there was no central place for team collaboration or document management.
Our Solution
Synapx designed and built a modern SharePoint Online intranet with a clean, branded interface. The site features a news hub with targeted audiences, a document centre with metadata-driven navigation, team sites for departmental collaboration, and integration with Microsoft Teams for seamless communication.
Content owners were trained to publish and manage their own sections, reducing IT dependency for routine updates.
The Result
Staff engagement with internal communications increased significantly, with the intranet becoming the go-to destination for company news and resources.
The self-service publishing model reduced the IT team's content management burden while ensuring information remained current and accessible.
